"I chose JCU because I liked the size of the town and university.  I love the tropical campus with all the different plants and animals.  The people who work at JCU are very helpful - especially the international student centre and library staff.  I loved the life in Townsville and my friends and I spent most Sundays having a BBQ on the beach and going for a swim.  A study abroad semester or year is fantastic. Everybody who has the chance should do this. You get to know different people from all over the world and I loved to discuss with them several topics about culture, politics or economy and see thereby a new point of view. It is always a great experience to broaden your horizon!!! Come here and enjoy JCU!!!"
