Swinburne University of Technology offers a number of International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS) every year. The IPRS scholarships are awarded by the Australian commonwealth government to attract high-quality overseas postgraduate students to support Australian research. These scholarships are available to international students from any country who wish to undertake postgraduate research in an area of the university’s research strengths.

Swinburne University of Technology provides the perfect environment for international research students. The Hawthorn campus is located on the lively Glenferrie Road in Melbourne – which has all of the amenities students could need. In terms of fostering a great culture and assisting students with the transition to postgraduate research studies, Swinburne offers a series of seminars and workshops to assist research students throughout their candidature. This provides students with opportunities to improve and further develop their research skills as well as networking with peers.
